NewsFire RSS
I’ve been exclusively using NewsFire since I got my MacBook back in June. NetNewsWire, which I also own, is great, if you need to sync “read” items across multiple Macs, as I did before late June. NewsFire won the smackdown for me, purely on its looks. I really like the basic layout and the organizational features, but with the addition of the hot replacement icon from Denis Radenkovic.
This weekend David Watanabe, the author of Newsfire is bundling free licenses of Inquisitor, his search tool for Safari and Camino, with the purchase of NewsFire for $18.99.
This weekend only, if you buy NewsFire, the most beautiful RSS newsreader on the Mac, you will get a free license for Inquisitor, the instant search extension for Safari that makes searching the web just like using Spotlight.
If you haven’t picked up a newsreader for the Mac, this may be the weekend to pick one up.
