I have been curious about Mel and about the broader world, in general. What is so appealing about anti-semitism? Many americans and most europeans appear to be ready to buy into the horror stories propagated by the middle-eastern muslim media lock, stock and barrel, turning off their BS filters.

In the current battle between Israel and Hezbollah, the Israelis have occupied the moral high ground. When they kill civilians it is because they shot at terrorists and missed. When Hezbollah kills Israeli civilians it is because they shot at civilians and hit the target.

There is a massive gulf between those two moral positions. Intent does matter. I don’t understand people who can write this conflict off as Israeli militarism against the innocent people of Lebanon. The only reason I can come up with is that they must be anti-semites. Or they could just be morons.
