Biodiesel industry to celebrate Biodiesel Day
With Biodiesel coming to my little part of the Heartland in a big way, we should get preparations for next year’s Biodiesel Day underway immediately:
Saturday, March 18th, is National Biodiesel Day and the birthday of <a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolph_Diesel”>Rudolph Diesel, inventor of the diesel engine… Diesel originally used peanut oil for his engines. A year before his mysterious death, he said, ‘the use of vegetable oils for engine fuels may seem insignificant today, but such oils may become, in the course of time, as important as petroleum and the coal tar products of the present time.’
