Boing Boing: Eliminating bank clocks in attempt to reduce complaints

Customers at NatWest banks have been complaining about the time wasted waiting in long lines. The bank’s response? Get rid of the clocks on the walls.
I bet it works, perhaps even better than speeding up the lines would have worked. You have to design around humans’ perceptions of reality, sometimes in opposition to “objective” reality. (via Boing Boing)
